Visibility and review date
The same Step 3 screen (Confidence & settings) asks for two more settings before you can save: who can see this hypothesis, and when you'll come back to resolve it.
Visibility — Public or Private
- Public — visible to everyone on your team. Counts toward team learning, shows up on the Head of Product's dashboard, and lands in the Learning Library when resolved.
- Private — visible only to you. Counts toward your personal calibration but never appears on team dashboards or in the library.
Pick Private for personal practice bets you don't want to surface to the team. Once Private, always Private — no toggle later in the system can expose a private hypothesis.

Review date
The date you intend to come back and resolve the hypothesis. Pick a real, defendable date — not "someday".
- A daily background job sweeps overdue hypotheses and notifies you on your dashboard.
- You can extend a review date later if needed (see the Extending a resolution date page).

Rule of thumb: pick the earliest date by which the metric will have a real signal — not the latest one you can defend. Earlier dates produce tighter feedback loops.
Save the hypothesis
When confidence, visibility and review date are set, click Save hypothesis →. You'll land on the hypothesis detail page. From here, the bet is locked until you resolve it.
